Brute Squad’s Club

Non-fatal weapons have always fascinated me. I am embarrassingly squeamish around blood, so anything that incapacitates a foe without the mess piques my interest.

The clubs used by the Vasteel Brute Squad are one of my favorites examples. They are designed for low paid crowd control agents whose heads tend to be made of more meat than brain matter. Rather than risk them getting carried away with sharp pointy objects on generally peaceable crowds, wise city officials equipped them with clubs that magically removed the liability of accidental deaths.

Mechanics

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this club. In addition to rolling an extra dice for your attack damage on a critical hit, the target becomes stunned for 1d10 minutes.

You cannot kill a creature with this weapon. If a creature takes damage from this weapon that would cause it to drop below 1 hit points, that creature is stunned for 1d10 minutes. When they recover, they regain 1 hit point.
