Weapon (Shortsword), Uncommon
When fighting in mines and caves, swordplay can be challenging. Most Dwarves simple default to a sturdy axe or hammer which have less finesse, but aren’t prone to the mobility issues swords sometimes have.
The small group of Dwarves that do wield swords, will often commission a cave sword from one of the great Dimlodir forges. These weapons are short, agile, and durable. Above all they are sharp.
Mechanic
This weapon is considered a shortsword with the following modifications:
- Instead of rolling a 1d6 for damage rolls, roll 1d8.
- You gain +1 to attack and damage rolls while wielding this sword underground.
