Life Spring Clock

The Life Spring Clock is a clever and very intricate piece of magic. Contrary to what its name suggests, the device does not tell time; it manipulates time. If kept appropriately tensioned, the Life Spring Clock can be used to reverse moments of localized trauma. For example, let’s say a person cuts their finger while chopping beets. The Life Spring Clock could be activated, and the cut would slowly seal back up as if it had never happened.

How all this works exactly is a question for a gnome tinkerers. Suffice it to say, this fascinating trinket can come in handy in a pinch. If only it could be adapted to wipe away a foolish slip of the tongue, it could save many marriages.

After you take damage, you can use a reaction to activate this item. Doing so allows you to regain 1d8 hit points at the start of every turn until you recover the lost hit points from the attack or you reach your hit point max. This item continues to function even if you fall unconscious.

You cannot activate the item again for a number of hours equal to the number of hit points you regained when it was activated.
