The Furyborn don’t have a tribe or people. Anger and rage and their kin. They walk the land unleashing wrath on whatever cause or banner they care to serve. Someone doesn’t simply choose to become one of these Berserkers. During a time of unthinkable anguish, when a weaker soul would crumble under the pressure, something snaps inside of them. Out of their pain and suffering, they are reborn. They are Furyborn.
In every documented case, the items carried by the Furyborn during their rebirth are transformed by the extraordinary concentration of rage. Their weapons in particular spring to life with devastating potential. These magical artifacts are extremely difficult to study. Scholars aren’t keen on the idea of examining sharp weapons in the hands of individuals known for going into random fits of complete madness.
Mechanics
If you are raging, you gain +2 to your attack and damage rolls, and your reach is increased by 5 feet.
Additionally, you gain access to the following abilities. You can only use one ability on your turn, and once you’ve used it, it cannot be used again until after your rage ends.
Shoving Attack
After making a successful attack and if the target is Large or smaller, it must make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, you push the target up to 15 feet away from you.
Ferocious Attack
When you attack a creature, it must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, it is frightened of you until the end of your next turn.
Rush Attack
After making a successful attack, you can move 15 feet without provoking an opportunity attack. If you end your movement within reach of another target, you can make a free Melee Attack.
