Blowing smoke rings is neat, but Gnomes take the art form to a completely different level. Every Gnome tinkerer worth their weight has their own secret design for a pipe; some of which can get quite elaborate. A favorite pastime of the older generations is sitting around a parlor and showing off their latest design iterations. Gnomes rarely part with their pipes as they become deeply sentimental.
This pipe looks and functions like an ordinary pipe. As an action, you can speak the name of a small animal and light the pipe. Doing this will cause smoke to form into the shape of the spoken animal. The smoke construct follows your commands. It cannot talk, it can move through porous objects, and it can carry one small object weighing less than a pound.
Only one smoke construct can be active at a time. A smoke construct exists for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, it loses its form and dissipates into the air. It dissipates early if it drops to 0 hit points or if you use a bonus action to speak a command word to dismiss it. Once the pipe has been used, it can’t be used again for 1 hour.

Haze: Smoke constructs are difficult to see through. Ranged attacks that pass through a space occupied by a smoke construct have disadvantage.
Choking Presence: If the smoke construct ever occupies the same space as another creature, the construct is destroyed, and the creature must make a DC 12 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is poisoned for 5 minutes. The creature can make a Constitution saving throws at the end of their turn to end the condition.
Puff: Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2 (1d4) poison damage.
Magic Item Levels
If this item is owned by a tinkerer, it can optionally level up. As it levels up, the smoke construct that is formed by the pipe is more powerful, and the number of constructs that can be created increase.
Begin by using the 1st level features, and advance the item forward as the player takes time to craft and shape a better pipe.
